Sigma, a leading food company, has shown its ability to adapt to market demands and maintain a consumer-centered approach. With operations in 17 countries, 64 plants, and more than 100 brands, Sigma’s growth has accelerated in recent years.
For more than four years Sigma has been undergoing a strategic transformation process to consolidate its financial position. The result is 14 consecutive quarters of growth, even under adverse economic conditions. The key to Sigma’s success lies in its ability to identify and meet consumer needs, develop innovative products, and enter new markets.
A standout example is the growth in plant-based proteins and direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms, which have shown a substantial increase of up to 200% in revenue in some cases. Additionally, Sigma launched Netport® in the United States, a distribution business that connects Mexican and Latin American companies with consumers in the U.S. It also introduced the Mucho Gusto® brand in the third quarter, offering products designed to meet the increasing demand for Hispanic foods.
