Sustainability Vision / Global Compact / Economic Impact
ALFA believes that generating value through a sustainable development model is essential for business continuity and growth.
In addition to create economic value, ALFA seeks to foster the development and well-being of its employees, communities and operate in harmony with nature.
ALFA has worked under this principle for over 40 years. The company is clear that this is the only way we can build a more hopeful environment for new generations.
Since its foundation in 1974, ALFA has taken the commitment to be a responsible company with its employees, the community and the environment.
To strengthen this principle, since 2006 ALFA has signed the United Nations Global Compact initiative,
that promotes social and economic development, as well as universal values
ALFA's commitment is to continue to develop its activities under the framework of the 10 Global Compact principles.
ALFA operates 121 plants in 23 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, participating in the petrochemicals, refrigerated food, automotive and telecommunications industries.
